A few little answers.
Is HeyAnimal free?
Friends and Discover feeds, conversations, camera, Animal Book, Travel, everyday sharing and the short annual recap are free. HeyAnimal+ is an optional monthly subscription for albums, Trip Books, extended annual chapters and additional album-export styling.
Can I explore without posting?
Yes. Discover brings you public animal moments, and Friends shows moments from accepted connections. You can join conversations and save posts without posting a photo first. Only your own captures unlock animals in your Animal Book.
Do I have to share my photos?
No. Confirmed moments start Private. You choose whether an eligible photo is shared with accepted friends or made public. Keeping a moment private does not stop it being part of your Animal Book.
What happens after 24 hours?
The window for publishing a new photo closes. Your private memory stays, and existing posts do not disappear. Uploading an older draft later does not restart the timer. You can still narrow the audience of an existing post.
What if I don't know the animal?
Keep the moment as “Not sure”, use the identification clues or add your own animal name. You can request a catalogue review without sending your private photo.
When can I download it?
HeyAnimal is being prepared for iPhone. This page will link to the App Store when the app is publicly available. It is intended for people aged 16 and over.

Use report and block in the app, or visit HeyAnimal support. If you cannot sign in, email support@heyanimal.app. Never send a password or sign-in code.
